On the grounds of a former garden nursery, two new living spaces were created in collaboration with the Cantonal Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments. In the farmhouse, the attic was converted into a modern apartment, including a loggia. Existing elements such as roof beams and masonry were partially exposed to keep the building’s history visible.
Next to the farmhouse stands a small storage building accessed via a bridge. Previously unused, it was transformed into an independent apartment. Generous window fronts bring bright daylight into the rooms and highlight the relationship between the existing structure and the new interventions.
