The Sternen stands on an old road crossing the Sense river. Built in 1840 as a farmhouse, it was later converted into an restaurant, followed by the addtion of a small hall. We have now demolished this extension and rebuilt it as a residential area. The Sternen is a listed building, so the construction work was supervised by the cantonal heritage preservation authorities.
